How to Bet

Winning odds or probabilities show the player's chances for win and every player does everything possible to raise them. Thus there have been developed different systems. Some of them don't really influence the game results but help to gamble wisely. Here we offer you to study the most popular betting systems that are followed in almost all casinos games.

Martingale System

This negative progression system states that you will lose many times in a row. It is the best in case of the even money bets. According to the system, the player has to lower the bet size each time he wins and increase it every time he loses. Thus the player is able to get at last all the losses back. Of course, at the games with the betting limits this betting strategy does not work after you get to the limit.

Parlay System

This system is a positive progression gambling system that says that the gambler must increase the amount of the bet after he wins. But to get some profit from each win the gambler must keep the part of earnings and add the rest of the win to the following bet. Parley betting system is one of the most effective ones because it allows to keep the part of winnings.

Paroli System

Paroli betting system is the reverse to the Martingale strategy. Thus, the idea of Paroli system is that the player has to double the bet every time he wins and lower it after loss. As a result this system is successful only when the gambler is on a lucky streak, otherwise it doesn't allow to improve the winning chances and increase the game bankroll.

1-3-2-6 System

This is positive progression gambling system which is based on the idea that the player is able to win four times consecutively. According to 1-3-2-6 system, the gambler should follow the set 'pattern': no matter the player loses or wins, he must first bet 1 unit, then 3 units, 2 units and in the last round 6 units. By varying the bet size every time the player may substantially increase his bankroll, especially when luck favors him.

Labouchere System

Labouchere System is a negative progression betting system which has many variations. According to the one, the player is to write down the sequence of numbers, for example 1-2-3-5-6-7, and using them define the amount of units he has to wager. For instance, because the first recorded number is 1 and the last one is 6, the gambler should wager 7 units. If the gambler wins, he crosses out the pair of numbers and use the next numbers. And in case the bet is losing, the gambler is to add the number he wagered (7) to the sequence and use it in the next round. Labouchere gaming strategy allows the player to always have the profit.

D'Alenbert System

D'Alenbert system states that the gambler must raise the amount of bet by one unit every time he loses and decrease it by one unit after he wins. As you see, the strategy resembles much the Martingale negative progression system with one difference: the bet can be changed only by one unit and not more according to D'Alenbert system.
